PowerBI and visual maps

It is pretty exciting to see the new features that come out with online tools. For one of our customers, an interactive competition board was created. The new map tools really allow you to visualize who is your competition. Using AI, you can also scour the web for good sources, and with a little vetting for accuracy – a quick dashboard can be created. 

The image above is a stock image – but it highlights the highly visual new dashboard widgets (we can’t put screen captures the client we did this for – they had the bubbles centered on city centers). We had a list of business categories, internal region slicers and time frames so that the end user could quickly see what other companies were NOT in a region. The end goal was to see what regions they could focus on for future work.
